Because babies sleep at night so parents try to fly at night so they won’t be screaming their little heads off the entire flight….and the parents can actually have some peace and quiet.

so…you make me sound like I’m never happy….and I still say that your “sparkly freckle” looks like a piece of glitter that is stuck on your face. I don’t like it, and never will, but it’s not my choice, it’s yours. On the good side…I can stand on your “good side” and not have to look at it or feel like I need to “wipe off” the stray piece of glitter.

I am seven and I think a cricket has done something to me.
I was trying to make it move and something sharp stuck in my finger, it hurt.
Mummy has helped me to look on the internet about crickets to see if they sting or bite and we found your stories.
I ran my finger under the tap.
I hope I don’t get a fever and a sore throat like you.

I’m with you! Go Hokies! Yes, it will be strange not to have you sitting with us in Lane Stadium….trying to stand on the bench so you can see over the 6′5″ guy in front of us (who apologizes profusely for being tall….and always checking if you can see the action….he’s a nice guy, but aren’t all Hokies? I’m not sure Aunt Jan can yell as loud as you….or get as excited as you….or will jump up and down to Sandman like you….sigh……

I had no idea they had Puerto Rican Quarters….Elizabeth probably remembers her 7th grade social studies teacher who told them that Puerto Rico was indeed a state and at first I thought our stupid government thought so too! (and now you know why Florida has such a bad public school system!).

True…but what would be the fun in that? I estimate Lane really only cost $8000-$10000, but I was being generous. You never know, the way Elizabeth has taken to Lane she may change her mind about dogs. Monday when we were eating dinner Lane couldn’t make it up on the bench so without thinking Elizabeth just reached down and picked her up to help her…now that is progress!
